The DDNS process is :-

- Connect to the DVR via Internet Explorer web browser
- http://{DVR IP Address}
- Enter ID and Password (Install active X controls if requested)
- Once logged in, click the setup button
- Click the DDNS tab
- Select the appropriate DDNS Select as http://www.dyndns.com
- Enter Username, Password and Host
- Select Apply

This should update the DDNS regularly. If it doesn't however, please confirm the DVR DNS is set correctly. If it isn’t, it won’t be able to find www.dyndns.com to update it

Check DNS on the DVR (done through the DVR Menu):-

- Select Menu
- Choose LAN Setup (Bottom right hand icon)
- Confirm the DNS IP is set the same as the default gateway e.g. if the default gateway is 192.168.001.254, the DNS need to be this too.
