To install this firmware, follow the below steps:
- Format a USB stick in your Killer Blade CCTV pictures. The results can be of higher quality than VHS or SVHS. Events can be found faster and there is no loss of quality when copies are made.

- Insert the USB stick into your PC
- Extract the zip file to the USB stick
- Ensure the .rom file is in the root of the USB stick
- Insert the USB stick into your Killer Blade DVR
- After a few seconds it should begin to do the firmware update
- Select Yes to Proceed with the firmware Update
If it doesn't start, follow the steps below to restart the DVR
After the firmware has been updated, the DVR should restart after 30-60 seconds, if it does not:
- Turn off the DVR (power switch, back right hand side of DVR)
- Leave for a few seconds
- Turn the DVR back on
