Installation Instructions

Format a USB stick with FAT32 on a PC
Copy the downloaded file to your USB stick.
Plug the USB stick into the Killer XD DVR (Either the USB above the DVD drive or in the back of the DVR)

From the DVR:
- Press ‘MENU’
- Go down to ‘System Setup’ Press ‘OK’
- Go Down to ‘S/W Upgrade & etc’ Press ‘OK’
- Press ‘OK’ on ‘RAMDISK’
- It will search the USB stick for the appropriate file and then begin the update.
- Once Completed, the DVR will restart.

Due to changes in the way the firmware handles the hard disk drive, you will need to format the hard disk drive.
- Press 'MENU'
- Go to 'Syetem Setup'
- Go to 'HDD Setup'
- Select 'Format' then confirm by pressing 'OK'
This will restart the DVR then format the hard disk drive.

Please note that after applying this update, you may require the latest Network applications.
