DVR Internet Explorer video viewing may not work correctly.
This issue may be caused by incompatible or corrupt installation of the necessary Internet Explorer add on.
If you can login to the DVR via internet explorer but the video does not load or display correctly, Flash Player or Quicktime may not be installed correctly.
Try installing the latest versions of Flash Player and Quicktime.

There may also be bandwidth limitations on the internet connection that prevent proper video streaming. Confirm the internet connection, where the DVR is located, does have an upload capacity of at least 256kbits per second as each Channel of video uses approximately 64kbits per second.
You should run a speed test on your connection to get an estimate.

ADSL circuits may not provide sufficient upload bandwidth for viewing video. This is a limitation of the copper pair technology and service provider bandwidth throttling and/or shaping.
Cable connections tend to provide a more stable sustained upload bandwidth as they are generally through fibre optic connections rather than copper pairs.
Certain Service Providers can supply a fixed link connection with superior performance to both ADSL and cable connections, however these do come at a cost. These can commonly provide guarantees on 80% bandwidth at all times and often the upload and download bandwidth are the same.
