Question: I have conencted my DVR via HDMI to my TV, but there is no video output
Answer: The Cobra and Veum DVRs are in 1080p by default. This means you will require a full HD 1080p TV/Display.
If you don't have a Full HD TV, follow the steps below:-
- Disconnect the HDMI whilst changing the configuration
- Connect the DVR via VGA or CVBS
- Go into the Menu, Configuration
- Change the 'Main Video Output HDMI Resolution' to '1280x720'.
This mode is HD Ready mode, 720p and will operate a HD Ready TV/Display.
- Select Apply at the bottom
- Connect the DVR via the HDMI cable
